My alarm didn't ring
Almost always one of three things:
- Alarm permission. Open RYZER → Settings. The top section says whether iOS is handling your alarms. If it isn't, go to the iPhone's Settings → RYZER and allow alarms.
- The alarm was switched off. Check the Alarms tab — the toggle has to be on, and the day has to be selected.
- Your subscription ended. RYZER switches alarms off when a subscription lapses. Settings → RYZER Pro will tell you.
RYZER does not need to be open or running for an alarm to ring. You can close it completely.
The alarm won't stop
That is the point of RYZER — it stops when the mission is done, not before. Complete the push-ups, squats, or photo and it goes quiet immediately. Closing the app, silencing the alarm or opening RYZER some other way brings you straight back to the mission.
If you genuinely can't do the mission — you're injured or unwell — switch your iPhone off. Nothing can ring while it's off. If you open RYZER within the hour, it will still ask for the mission; after that, you can change the alarm's mission in the Alarms tab — for example to the photo mission.
The reps aren't being counted
- For push-ups, prop the phone so your head, shoulders and arms are in frame. Leaning it against a wall at floor level works well. For squats, it needs to see your whole body.
- Make sure the room has some light — the camera needs to see you.
- Go through the full range of motion. Half-reps are deliberately not counted.
The alarm is too quiet
RYZER's alarm is a real iPhone alarm, so it follows your iPhone's ringer volume, not the media volume:
- Open the iPhone's Settings → Sounds & Haptics and drag Ringtone and Alerts most of the way up.
- On the same screen, turn off Change with Buttons, so turning your phone down at night doesn't turn your alarm down too.
Silent mode and Focus don't matter — the alarm rings through both. RYZER shows the same steps under Settings → Make your alarm loud.
Free trial and billing
- How long is the trial?
- Three days, free. You are not charged during those three days.
- What happens after?
- The yearly subscription begins automatically unless you cancel before the trial ends.
- How do I cancel?
- In RYZER: Settings → RYZER Pro → Manage subscription. Or on your iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → RYZER. Cancelling during the trial costs nothing.
- What happens when I cancel?
- You keep RYZER until the period you've paid for ends. RYZER tells you the day before, and again when it ends. After that your alarms are switched off.
- I paid but RYZER is asking me to subscribe.
- Tap Restore on the subscription screen. If that doesn't do it, email us.
- I want a refund.
- Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us: reportaproblem.apple.com.
Health and safety
RYZER asks you to exercise the moment you wake up. Please read this once:
- RYZER is not medical advice. If you have a heart condition, high blood pressure, joint or back problems, are pregnant, or are unsure whether exercise is right for you, check with a doctor before choosing push-ups or squats.
- Stop if it hurts. Stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, chest pain or shortness of breath. Getting up slowly is fine; the reps don't have to be fast.
- Set a goal you can manage half asleep, and give yourself room: clear the floor around you and put the phone somewhere it can't fall.
- Choose the photo mission if exercise isn't right for you. It gets you out of bed without any.
What RYZER can't guarantee
RYZER does everything it can to wake you, but an alarm on your phone depends on your phone. It can't ring if your iPhone is switched off or out of battery, and it will be quieter than you expect if the ringer volume is low. Alarms stop when a subscription ends. Please don't rely on RYZER alone where oversleeping would have serious consequences — for an early flight or an important appointment, set a second alarm as well.

Hilfe (Deutsche Fassung)
- Drei Tage, kostenlos. In diesen drei Tagen wird nichts abgebucht.
- Was passiert danach?
- In RYZER: Einstellungen → RYZER Pro → Abo verwalten.
